Kickstarter is an online platform where people raise money for creative projects by getting support from the public.

Instead of going to a bank or investor, creators (like artists, game developers, filmmakers, or inventors) post their idea on Kickstarter and ask others to fund it.

Here’s how it works:

• A creator (that’s me) sets a funding goal which has a deadline. This is normally 30 days.
• The creator explain their project (video, images, description) and what they need the funding for.
• Backers (that’s you) pledge money by choosing from several reward options to support the project.
• Rewards are normally the final project item (in this case a puzzle and choose your own path book,), exclusive items only available to backers (lapel pin, mini story, plushie, bandana) and other unique project related input like naming a character.

My funding will allow me to produce my project since the puzzle is complete and the book will be finished by launch day.
